Sara Blair-Field
Sara Blair-Field has been a Cambria resident most of her life. Born into a family of artisans, she has been active in the community for years doing face-painting for charity events and creating scarecrows on display all over town. She is also a master baker and dessert-maker. Sara says, "Art is an integral part of everyday life if we allow it." Creativity knows no boundaries in her hands. Her festive Folk Art covers a wide range of media: fabric, yarn, needle and thread, felting needles, wool roving, 3-d sculpting materials, acrylic paint and more.
Sara's corner of The Painted Lily is a treasure trove of gift items and unique one-of-a kind gems expressing her love of color, pattern and texture. She crafts beautifully playful miniatures and practical things for the home and personal use are often made from recycled materials. In Sara's hands, art is for wearing, too. Her brightly colored whimsical hats, painted bags, small purses, jewelry and other accessories are portable works of art.
